Every kitten is bred and raised with love, care, and close attention to health and temperament. Our Health Guarantee ensures that your new family member begins life in your home strong, healthy, and well-cared-for.

Our Commitment to You

We take pride in maintaining the highest standards of breeding and kitten care.
All our British Shorthair kittens are:

Vet-checked by a licensed veterinarian before leaving our home

Vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped according to age

Raised in a clean, loving home environment with proper nutrition and socialization

You will receive a Health Record from our veterinarian detailing your kitten’s vaccinations, parasite prevention, and overall condition before adoption.

Health Guarantee Coverage

Each kitten from Royal British Shorthair comes with a written Health Guarantee covering the following:

1. Initial Health Guarantee (72 Hours)

Your kitten is guaranteed to be in good health at the time of sale.

The buyer must have the kitten examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours (3 days) of arrival.

If the vet identifies a serious illness or congenital defect that existed before delivery, the buyer must notify us immediately with a written report from the veterinarian.

Upon verification by our vet, the buyer may be offered a replacement kitten of equal value or another mutually agreed resolution.

2. Genetic Health Guarantee (Up to 1 Year)

We guarantee your kitten to be free from life-threatening hereditary or congenital diseases for one (1) year from the date of birth.

This includes serious conditions affecting the heart, liver, or kidneys that are proven to be of genetic origin.

If such a condition is diagnosed and confirmed in writing by two licensed veterinarians (including ours), we will offer a replacement kitten when available.

Buyer Responsibilities

To ensure your kitten remains in optimal health, the buyer agrees to:

Have the kitten examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of arrival

Keep the kitten up-to-date on all vaccinations and parasite prevention

Provide proper housing, a healthy diet, and regular veterinary care

Avoid exposing the kitten to unvaccinated pets or outdoor environments until fully vaccinated

Failure to comply with these care requirements may void the health guarantee.
